Ladies' scareneck driver
Maker:
W J Rush
, Cromer Date: 1908
A late scareneck driver from the long-serving professional at Royal Cromer, his details faintly stamped in an oval on the head and more clearly "W J Rush Cromer" within a double oval on the shaft.
The head, made from a fine piece of persimmon, is protected by a horn slpi secured by three screws.
A slightly shorter shaft and scare show this to be a ladies' club. It is fitted with a solid brown leather grip which may well be the original.
Price $285.00 Reference: D341
