W J Rush
Cromer
W J Rush was a one club professional. He began his career at Royal Cromer as assistant to Willie Aveston around the turn of the twentieth century and succeeded him as professional in 1906, earning a salary of £40 per year, with his son (Samuel) as assistant. He remained in post until sometime in the late 1920s.

He qualified for, and played in, the Open Championship at Sandwich in 1911.
