Winton offset putter for Prestbury

This offset putter with pronounced goose-neck was made by Winton of Montrose and London and has their diamond cleekmark on the reverse of the head above the model number “162”. It is also stamped “Hand Forged” and has “Harry Baker” (in signature) above “Prestbury (only the “y” is still visible) & Upcot GC”. Harry was professional there from 1920 until 1926..
The face has an enclosed line pattern.
A good straight hickory shaft is topped with the original black polished calskin grip.
