A very well-preserved smooth-faced mashie made by Robert Condie for Arthur Mitchell, professional at St Leonards on Sea from 1903 until the mid-1920s.
Stamped on the back with the Condie rose cleekmark surrounded by "A Mitchell St Leonards" and "Warranted Hand Forged" in oval form.
A stout hickory shaft in excellent condition carries a brown polished calfskin grip.
A very nice looking club equally suited to play or display.
