Mesh-era practice ball
Maker:
Unknown
, Unknown Date: 1930
A soft rubber (though not that soft, don't chip it around where you keep your Ming vases) mesh pattern practice ball. It fails one of the basic tests of golf-ballness in that it is not, at the moment, spherical but pushing and prodding it back into shape should provide an hour of harmless amusement and serve as a stress reliever.
Brick-red in colour it has a characteristic 1920s mesh pattern on it.
