![]() Clubmakers Fred Kirk Luffenham Heath/Stanton ![]() After the war, in April 1919, he was appointed professional to the Luffenham Heath GC in Rutland. In 1923 he was back in Nottingham and took over from J H Atkinson at Stanton-on-the-Wolds. He was still there in 1926 but the club was advertising in January 1927 for a new professional. I have not yet confirmed a matching identity but I believe the vacancy arose because of the death of Frederick Kirk in Selston on 17 January 1927.
