Left-handed Masonic putter
Maker:
A F Parker
, Cheltenham Date: 1926
Golf clubs with masonic insignia are unusual but still occur often enough to be a collecting specialisation. Along with the masonic emblem, the reverse of this left-handed putter is marked "A Parker Cotswold Hills" (in oval form), "Warranted Hand Forged" and "Putter". The face has an enclosed hyphen pattern. The straight hickory shaft bears a black leather grip which is probably a first replacement from the 1920s.
