The Royal blade putter
Maker: Robert Forgan and Son , St Andrews
Date: 1928

A late hickory-era putter, or perhaps a hickory one made in the early steel-shafted era, by the famous St Andrews firm.

A blade putter. i.e. no offset with enclosed dot pattern face. The reverse is clearly stamped, “Made by Forgan”, “Royal” (in diamond) “Rustless” and “Hard Forged Putter”.

The grip is a first replacement, a typical 1930s soft black leather one with small holes punched throughout.

Price $100.00
