Framed cigarette card collection
Date: 1989
Hard to know whether to offer this as an antique or a reproduction. It is a series of cards from G B & T W of golfing greats in 1989. Yup, seems like yesterday but sadly my bones tell me a little earlier. All original, in mint condition in a frame with glass on either side so that the obverse descriptions are visible. Individual cards advertised at prices up to $35. It’s traditional golf meets early modern: Robert Harris, the great amateur and Bobby Jones the last amateur to regularly win against the pros; George Gadd, invalided veteran from the First World War and Pam Barton, killed in a military plane crash in WWII. 20 cards in the series, all here.
Price $210.00 Reference: MEM339
