A most attractive, and scarce, scareneck driver by Thomas Hood, one of the pioneers of Irish golf, his name picked out in signature, in gold, on the crown.
The head is protected by a horn slip secured by three hickory dowels,
A black leather grip, probably the original, sits atop a straight hickory shaft.
In very good condition this is both an eyecatching display item and an important piece of Irish golfing history.
