A small-headed niblick (2.5 x 1.75") with slightly concave smooth face and 4" hosel. On the reverse, the faint outline of James Anderson's pre-1895 half-inch circular cleekmark can be seen.

The straight hickory shaft has the first replacement grip on it, probably from around 1905. It was once black leather but has been worn away to a nap finish like suede.
