A ladies' putter from a well known sports retailer in the heart of Edinburgh's main thoroughfare, Princes Street, with the company's later 'own-brand' cleekmark. In addition to this lion above a shield with T&Co Ltd the reverse of the head is marked with "Thornton & Co Ltd" (in script), "Edinburgh", "Putter", "Made in Scotland", "Ladies" and "Warranted Hand Forged". The face has a simple enclosed line pattern.
A good, straight hickory grip is topped with a period replacement suede grip.
