R A (Reginald) Whitcombe was the most famous of the golfing Whitcombe brothers and the only one to win the Open Championship, a feat he achieved in 1938. Cashing in on his success, he produced a number of instruction pamphlets and this book, "Golf's No Mystery", published by J M Dent in the year of his championship win. 127 pages with 30 photographs it is both a sensible teaching book and an interesting piece of history. There is some damage to the spine. The inside front cover has an ex libris sticker for Samuel Pope.
