A very large-headed spade mashie (an oversized mashie), 3.5 x 2.25" at the widest, from John McAndrew's shop in Glasgow. The face has an enclosed hand-punched dot face. The reverse is clearly marked "Specially Selected Super Spade Mashie", "Stainless" and "McAndrew's" (in script), "Trajector 55 Mitchell Street Glasgow".

The hickory shaft is straight and original and stamped "J McAndrew" (in script) "Super". This eye-catching club is finished with an old sheepskin grip.
