An attractive iron in a soft rustless metal carrying Duncan MacPherson's famous Terrier mark. It has an angled enclosed dot punched face and the reverse, very clearly stamped, has, in addition to the terrier, "Made in Scotland" (clearly he did not forge his own heads), "Special Rustless", "Terrier Regd 2 iron" and "Warranted Hand Forged". It also has an oval stamped "Willie Page Didsbury GC Manchester".

William G Page was the pro at the Didsbury club in Manchester from 1909 until the 1950s when he was into his 70s.

The club has a good straight hickory shaft and a faded pigskin grip, almost certainly original, as is the whipping.
