Ladies' mid iron
Maker:
Fife Golf Company
, Kinghorn Date: 1920
This ladies mid iron bears a castle cleekmark on the reverse of the head, showing it was made by the Fife Golf Company (a brand of William Gibson at Kinghorn). It bears the name of W H Adwick who was the professional at the Copt Heath club from 1919-1926. The face has an enclosed dot pattern. It has a good straight original hickory shaft and the grip, a dark brown sheepskin, is probably an early replacement.
