Short-hoselled (ca 3.5") cleek from D&W Auchterlonie. Marked "Auchterlonie D&W St Andrews" on reverse of head in oval form and "Special". The mark towards the toe of the club looks almost like an "L" but the length of shaft does not suggest this is a ladies' club so this may be an inspection mark. Enclosed, irregular dash face. Shaft very slightly bowed. Original sheepskin grip in very good condition with black listing visible at the top.
