Ronald Belford
Aberdeen/Kilmacolm
Assistant to Duncan McNicol at Murcar just before the start of the First World War, Ronald Belford played in the first post-war Scottish Professional Championship with the affiliation of Edzell though it is unclear whether he was professional here or if it was simply his home (he had played in the same championship with this affiliation as early as 1910),

In any event he was appointed professional to the Kilmacolm club in that same year (1919). He was taken ill in 1921 and returned home to his elderly parents in Edzell to recuperate but, after about a month, died suddenly.
