Alfred Nash
Bromley/Mickleover
I have little information on Alfred Nash who joined the PGA in 1903 having begun his professional career at the Bromley & Bickley club, just outside London, sometime in the early 1890s. In 1894 he took up the post of professional to the Limpsfield Chart club in Surrey where he remained until the end of the century. At the outbreak of the First World War we find him in the Midlands, at Daventry, before he commenced his war service. After the war he was professional at Chevin between 1919 and 1923 and ended his career at Mickleover in Derbyshire in 1929.
