Thistle Golf Company
Glasgow

The Thistle Golf Company was one of the retail outlets of Glasgow clubmaker and entrepreneur, Charles Millar (see also Glasgow Golf Company). He had been using a thistle mark almost from the time he started making clubs in 1895 but successfully registered it as a trademark in 1907. He then used the device as the basis of the Thistle Golf Company, founded in 1911 and running until about the early 1920s when he emigrated to Canada.
