I do not know the company behind the name 'Hoylake' taken from the famous Liverpool club. Perhaps it had something to do with the Haskins family or with Jack Youds, both successful clubmakers in the area.

They produced a range of clubs, both woods and irons in the first decade of the twentieth century.
