Andrew Galloway
Edinburgh
Andrew Galloway began his career as a professional at the Lothian club on the outskirts of Edinburgh (what is now the Turnhouse club by the airport) in 1905. Unusually, he went from this in 1909 to be Willie Thomson's assistant at Baberton in the south of the city until he eventually succeeded Thomson as full professional in 1927.
