Brancaster
Tom King took over from the great putter maker Albert Tingey as professional at the Royal West Norfolk Club at Brancaster in 1899. Like Tingey before him, he had also been an apprentice to Old Tom Morris. He remained in post until 1925 when he was succeeded by his son, Tom jnr.
