Clubmakers Foster Brothers Ashbourne This long-established (since 1833) metal fabricator did not begin making golf clubs until after the First World War and, indeed, are better known for their fishing rods and accessories. On the golfing side, they are remembered for their cleekmark of a skeleton swinging a club and their very collectible 1920s putter, The Bogee, with its square hosel and back flange. They forged their own heads and offered wooden clubs also, the golf business continuing until the early 1930s. Search the catalogue for clubs by this maker | |
