William Winton
Montrose / London

A pro in London at East Finchley and Acton between 1897 and 1909. Established his own clumaking firm, W.M. Winton and Co., in 1910. He later took over his brother, James's, firm in Montrose and merged it with his own.

The advertisement is from 1921. Ironically the ribbed clubs would be delivered just in time to be banned for the following season!
