Clubmakers Unio Golf Ball Co Glasgow The Unio Golf Ball Company was a short-lived enterprise in Glasgow from 1911 until 1912. Its founder, Alexander Graham started as a general merchant in 1895 and later added flag and bunting making to his business. He went all in for the coronation of George V in 1911 but perhaps overestimated Glasgow’s enthusiasm for royalty and found himself with a large amount of stock left over. In the same year he started the golf ball business and the company produced the Little Traveller and the Double Dimple but the business was not a success. Bankruptcy was the result for both businesses in July 1912. Search the catalogue for clubs by this maker | |
