Clubmakers J F Jones New Mills I know little about J F Jones, who was a golf professional at the end of the hickory era but does have clubs marked with his name, other than he was professional at the New Mills club in Derbyshire from 1927 until at least the outbreak of the Second Word War. He played in various professional tournaments in the north of England, the Derbyshire Professional Championship, regularly throughout the 1930s, the £1000 News Chronicle East Brighton tournament in 1936, 1937 and 1939 without really setting the heather on fire.
