Tom Jamieson
Banchory/Aberdeen
Tom Jamieson seems to have begun his professional career at Banchory in 1906. Certainly his course record there was lowered by him, to 68, the following year. His obituary in the Press and Journal, has him at Banchory aged 17 and at 21 (i.e. 1910), so differing from Jackson’s register, at Aberdeen Links.

He was at the links until 1958. On his retirement he was made a life member of the Northern Club. He died in Aberdeen in February 1966 aged 77.
