D W Brodie & Co
Anstruther
I am a little uncertain of the exact details of this clubmaking firm which operated from the East Fife Golf Iron and Cleek Works but it is presumably one of the sons of R Brodie and Sons in Anstruther. There was a firm D Brodie and Son making clubs in the late 1920s. This may be the same firm or perhaps a successor after a fire gutted the premises of D Brodie and Son in August 1930. Whatever the connection, R Brodie and Sons and D W Brodie and Co were still operating contemporaneously when their goods were on display at an exhibition of east Fife products in St Andrews in 1933.

The firm was still advertising for iron head makers in the mid-1950s.
