David McEwan
Formby/Birkdale
David McEwan was born in Musselburgh in 1876 and became professional at Formby in 1893 playing a big challenge match, home and away, against Fred Butel the professional at Lytham the following year.
He became professional at (Royal) Birkdale in 1898 where he remained until his death in April 1936.
