Lillywhite jigger by Gibson
Maker: Lillywhite Frowd , London
Date: 1910

A jigger made for the Piccadilly sports retailer Lilywhites by William Gibson of Kinghorn. The face has an enclosed line pattern and the reverse of the head is marked "Lilywhite Frowd" (in curved form) and "Jigger". It is also stamped "Warranted Hand Forged", "Special", "Made in Scotland" and has Gibson's star cleek mark. The hickory shaft has a slight backward bow and carries a burgundy leather grip which was probably a first replacement in the 1920s. .
