A mashie niblick from around the end of the First World War produced by a low volume Montrose clubmaker. The face has an enclosed line pattern. On the reverse of the head is stamped "G Croll Montrose" in an oval, "Hand Forged" (in script and mashie nblick.

An all-weather grip, which has shrunk a little from heat over the years, is probably original and the hickory shaft has remained straight.
