Many golf club histories are worthy efforts and attract the interest of the collector because they help complete a set. This is not one of those or, at least, it is much more providing an interesting set of stories about an interesting club, Nairn, with more than its fair share of worthies and famous visitors. The publishers, Gopher, have cut some corners with the printing so, at the expense of glossy colour, there are a huge number of illustrations, both b/w and colour, which add to the text.
