George Horn
Bristol
George Horn began his career at the Mendip club where he was professional between 1910 and 1914. He moved to the Knowle club in Bristol that year and, according to the Western Daily Press, ‘there was no golfer in Bristol of George Horn’s age with so much promise’.

In 1918 he ‘died of wounds while in action on his gun in France’ leaving a wife and two young children.
