George V Tuck
Wolverhampton
George V Tuck Began his career as assistant to brother Harry at Hull, sometime around 1905, then moved to Penn as pro and, remained in that position when the club became the South Staffordshire GC in 1911. At the start of the First World War he went to work in a munitions factory before enlisting in the army in 1916. He returned to his duties after the war and remained at the club until 1932 when he left after a long illness.

He won the Midlands Challenge Cup in 1910, was Midland Professional Champion in 1913 and played in a number of wager matches such as the one where he partnered Harry Vardon at Danescourt to defeat George Duncan and Len Holland 6 and 5.
